So my little cousin named Charlie came over to my house yesterday (he's 5). He just started kindergarten this year and this was our conversation:
Him: Rose, I think I'm in love.
Me: Love? You're too little to be in love! Who's the lucky girl?
Him: She's in my class and she's really nice and pretty and I like the way she smells.
Me: Well that's nice. Does she like you back?
Him: I think so. But even if she doesn't, I'm going to try to get her to.
Me: And how do you plan to do that?
Him: I'm going to hold her hand when she cries and wipe her tears with my sleeve. And then I'll tell her I love her.
